Vinous Jeremy Oliver - 01 Jul 02
Full ruby-red. Concentrated, tarry aromas of ripe black plum, raspberry, black olive and spicy cinnamon cake. Soft and already quite approachable despite its huge extract. Vibrant plum and berry flavors are juxtaposed by prune, tar, licorice and leather. Smooth, furry tannins and creamy new oak frame the wine. May be best-suited for consumption on the early side.
